Almost 11 years ago, Sue bought a big black horse named Bronson. He had come from an owner who used him for roping and frankly, used him as a tool more than love him as a pet. He had arthritis in his knees from all the calf pulling. Happily, we can say that Bronson had a great retirement here at the Werley ranch and lived comfortably much longer than we anticipated those many years ago. He died suddenly Sunday night at the ripe old age of 29. Sue was thankful she was with him as we had been gone most of the day.
Luvee, Bronson's friend, will miss Bronson for sure, but she has other horses next door she can see and talk to.
